Her Royal Drug-ness Amy Winehouse made a good ‘comeback’ performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards last night. The 24 Year old Winehouse who happens to have a little drug problem not only snatched the “Record Of The Year” award she gave a performance that probably was the best! With 5 Grammy’s from last night the singer has definitely put Britney’s MTV VMA’s Performance post rehab in the bin as the trashiest and sluttiest comeback ever!
Rumors have it the Winehouse was at first denied a Visa to enter the United States because of a video that was leaked showing Amy snorting what appears to be cocaine. Her Visa was later granted but trust the Visa Council they issued it too late……
Kanye West was perhaps the most watched of all , the 30 year old singer who lost his mother to surgery complications last year gave a great performance with his songs “Stronger” and a tribute to his mother “Hey mama”. West walked away with 4 Grammy’s.
West said this during his acceptance speech:
“I know you’re really proud of me right now, And I know you wouldn’t want me to stop and you want me to be the number one artist in the world. And Mama, all I’m going to do is keep making you proud. We run this.”
I’m Glad they gave him the award, if they didnt all hell would have broken lose….
